The Fall of Sirelia

After centuries of ruling the continent of Avengard, the Sirelian Empire fell in the blink of an eye. Sirelia, the capital, simply vanished from the face of the earth. Now its remnants, still affected by Sirelia’s aggressive culture of expansion and colonialism, the former provinces of Sirelia lash out, ready for war.

        As the remains of the empire readied themselves for civil war, they called upon the Juggernauts, powerful and ancient warrior mercenaries, standing taller and fighting harder than any human. The wealthier nations hired as many Juggernauts as they could find, while others turned to ancient magics and forgotten means to defend themselves. Meanwhile, sinister plots and ancient evils lurk in hiding, sinking Avengard into a new dark age.

        Two nations stand at the forefront: Meridian, the land of opportunity, gold, and fire, and Duria, the ancient woodland, where countless secrets lay buried. Meridian was founded out of the ashes of Duria’s hills. Where one thrives, the other cannot.
